COvid-19 statement

We are following all guidance issued by the Scottish Government and will only reopen for business once we have been advised it is safe and legal to do so. It seems likely that accommodation providers will be able to reopen for business once we reach stage 3 of the four phase lockdown easing process. No timescale has yet been set for each of the phases.

We are currently accepting bookings for after 20th July 2020. When you make a booking through the system, you will be asked to enter credit card details for the deposit. Your card will not be charged straight away - we have to physically press the ‘go’ button before your card is charged and we will only do this once it becomes clear that the dates requested can go ahead. Your booking will show as provisional in the booking system until it has been confirmed by us and the deposit (or full amount) has been paid.

For the first four weeks following the easing of the lockdown, we will not let both cottages at the same time. We have also introduced a 72 hour buffer between bookings in the same cottage. This is to ensure that there are only two guests on site at any one time and to allow for deep cleaning of cottages in between stays. Cleaning is carried out in accordance with the covid-19 guidelines issued by Public Health Scotland.
